Payment
A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost - which is not refundable - must be made within 7 (seven) days of Invoice. If tours are arranged at less than 4 months notice, this deposit must be paid immediately. African Odyssey Safaris will specify exact payment dates with the client. If air tickets are arranged on behalf of the client they will be invoiced separately – for immediate payment – and will be payable in addition to the 30% deposit which itself will be calculated on the land arrangements, and will not take airfares into account.
Payment in full must be made at least 60 (sixty) days before the client’s arrival date, or immediately, if the tour is booked less than 60 (sixty) days from arrival date.
Prices are quoted in South African Rands except where otherwise indicated, and remain subject to change without notice. African Odyssey Safaris reserves the right to levy a surcharge on the quoted cost in the event of increases in fares, UK or SA Vat rates, accommodation and fuel costs, dues, faxes, fees or exchange rate changes. Such surcharges will not be levied once payment has been received in full. All deposits and payments are to be made by international bank transfer by the client according to the instructions issued by African Odyssey Safaris.
Please note that bookings cannot be confirmed until deposits payable are received into the African Odyssey Safaris' bank accounts. Should deposits not be received in time then African Odyssey Safaris will not be liable for any provisional bookings which may lapse.
African Odyssey Safaris will not accept responsibility for any funds transfer costs. All costs associated with funds transfer by the client shall be for the clients account.
African Odyssey Safaris reserves the right to cancel any booking for which the total amount has not been paid by the due date. In this event 25% of the total price will be forfeited and the balance refunded.
